Lithuanian Museum of Aviation, The helicopter on display belonged to the Lithuanian Air Force. During a military exercise on March 26, 2003, it fell into the Baltic Sea near Nemirseta and sank. Four of the six crew members were rescued.
This aircraft returned to its original home base after five years the next day after being commissioned with Mahan Air. It originally flew from 1996 to 2019 with Turkish Airlines as TC-JDM. Then it was shut down in JNB to be moved to Iran via two fictitious registrars. It flew here for the first time on 19.3.2024.
This aircraft entered service in 1992 with Romanian Tarom as YR-LCB. In the years 2018-2020, it was grounded alternately in Yerevan, Armenia, and in Tehran, Iran, where, after two fictitious registrars, it ended up with Iran Airtour.
