This MiG-21bis was shot down on 06.11.1991 near the Slunj in Croatia during the Yugoslav war. Now it's part of the exhibition of the emerging civil war museum in Turanj (Croatia).
The a/c executed landing before displaced threshold rwy 25 on the work in progress area. The right main gear collapsed at the impact. The a/c runs off the side of rwy 25, on the right side. The a/c stops at aprox 100 m across the rwy and aprox 450 m along the threshold 25.
C47 served with Australian National Airways registered as UH-AEO. Crashed in 1983 as Miss Fortune in the film Sky Pirates. Preserved near Cairns, Kuranda city now.
